St.  Helena is a beautiful beachfront villa located on the West Coast of Barbados and designed by the late Oliver Messel.  This villa offers a unique feeling of the old Colonial Style of living in Barbados with all the amenities you would expect when on vacation.
St. Helena is tastefully and comfortably furnished.  The lower level of the property  features a large open plan sitting room which leads to a covered dining patio overlooking the gardens towards the Caribbean Sea.  There are also two air-conditioned bedrooms, an al fresco dining area with a pool deck, bar and entertaining area.  The pool deck is partly covered, creating a perfect place to relax.
On the upper level there are three tastefully furnished bedrooms as well as a sitting room.  The bedrooms lead onto the circular verandah which features its own private bar, perfect for sitting and watching the ocean.
The ocean offers excellent swimming and providing conditions permit, guests can swim out to ‘the raft’.  St. Helens also has its own private speed boat and all guests staying at St. Helena are offered one (1) hour free water sports each day.
The cottage has three additional bedrooms, two upstairs and one downstairs.  There is a sitting room, kitchen faculties, TV, and a large patio overlooking the pool.
The staff compliment includes a Butler, Housekeeper/Maid, Cook, Laundress, Night Watchman and a Gardener.
Standard House Rules
No Smoking in bedrooms or in covered areas
Neither Smoking nor Vaping are permitted indoors.
Pre-arrival groceries are subject to 15% service charge + Vat.
Check-out is 12pm and Check-in is 3pm
Baby equipment rentals are NOT included in the rental price unless stated otherwise
Refer to Booking form regarding Guests not registered to stay at the villa
Sandy Lane Property Owners Beach is accessible only to guests staying on the Sandy Lane Estate
Facilities at the Sandy Lane Hotel are Not available to Villa Guests
Wash off sunscreen before using indoor furniture and place a towel down when using outdoor furniture.
Staff provided and hours of service vary. Confirm at time of booking
 
A 10% Government Accommodation Tax Will Be Added To All Rentals.
1.5% Service charge added to all bookings.
Please Note: Tipping is not included in the service charge and is at your discretion.
A security deposit of $5,000 US is required.
Winter Season: Minimum Stay 7 Nights / Christmas Season; Minimum Stay 14 Nights.
